How I Started
While in the commercial construction field, the final touch to the projects always consisted of powerwashing the outside of each project. I own a large property that consists of 2 acres of vinyl fencing that needs powerwashing each year. After winter, there are always plenty of homes that are attacked by green mold and algae that need to be removed. I started to investigate the contractors of my projects who were power washing. I researched safe chemicals and procedures by joining groups of professional powerwashers and decided this was a much-needed line of work. When selling a home, the home needs to be clean and fresh for the new buyers. Agents want to make sure they are hiring a quality professional to get the job done. After a hard winter, storefronts are dirty and unattractive. Store owners want a professional cleaning job that will last through the season. With my expertise, I felt I could impart that to them. So I built my powerwasher trailer and started to work.
